Aimsio Pancake Dispatch

Stampede is an opportunity for Calgarians to break dress code, break routine and break...fast.  With nine days of pancake breakfasts offered around the city, making the most of the flapjack festivities requires careful planning.  Since we love strategic dispatching at Aimsio, we’ve identified the free Stampede breakfasts that we can hit on the way to work everyday. July 7th

Fluor Rope Square’s Chuckwagon Breakfast

8:15 - 10:30 am (daily except Sunday) at Olympic Plaza

Enjoy this breakfast nearly everyday. Big plus: it's from the back of an authentic chuckwagon!

Kent Hehr MP Annual Stampede Breakfast

9:00 - 11:00 am at the Sunalta Community Centre

New location for the 12th anniversary of MP Hehr's breakfast.

Chinatown Stampede Breakfast

Great location — take advantage of the nearby Riverwalk to burn off the maple syrup!

July 8th

No free breakfasts in the core this day (not even Fluor at Olympic Plaza, unfortunately) but the Calgary Stampede Caravan Committee will be at the Westside Rec Centre and Marlborough Mall. 

July 9th 

The Premier's Stampede Breakfast

7:00 - 9:00am at McDougall Centre

Visit this event to meet Premier Rachel Notley and other MLAs.

ActiveConversion Breakfast

7:30 - 10:30am at Olympic Plaza

The large window for this free breakfast makes it entirely possible to hit two events on the 9th, just saying.

July 10th

Calgary Parking Authority's Stampede Breakfast

7 - 9am at 620 9 Ave SW

This one is really close to the office and there's a chance to win free parking!

The Buckn' Breakfast - Located at The Palace Theatre, this one is close, but not free. Tickets are $125.

Another dry day for downtown breakfasts (thank goodness for Fluor!). However, the Caravan Committee will be at Southland Leisure Centre as well as Mackenzie Towne Centre.  Then again, at this point, it might be a good day to take a pancake break.

July 13th

Kerby Centre Annual Stampede Breakfast

8:00 - 10:00am 

Take the train to the last stop in the "free-fare" zone and congratulate these guys on their 26th year of flipping flapjacks!

Own It’s 3rd Annual Stampede Breakfast

9:00 am - 12:00 pm at Sunalta Community Centre

The second event held at Sunalta's cheery red Community Centre. This one features halal beef bacon and face painting for the kids.
