# Aimsio shortlisted for Innovative Award at Global Petroleum Show
Aimsio: Makin’ friends and settin’ trends
**CALGARY (May 1, 2019)** - It was announced on April 15 that we are one of five finalists being considered for a [Global Petroleum Show (GPS) award](https://globalpetroleumshow.com/event/awards/) in the Collaborative Trendsetter category. And no, it’s not because of our hip fashion or edgy choice in music. The Collaborative Trendsetter award will be presented to a company who is leading the charge, pushing the envelope, refining industry level performance, and driving technology innovation and collaboration with the oil and gas industry. Although, our music and fashion are both super trendy, too.
It’s no secret that Aimsio has been a top choice for field ticketing software for many years now, however in recent months we’ve also made it a priority to work with stakeholders in the oil and gas industry to encourage collaboration and to educate the industry on the importance of taking part in the digital transformation that’s currently happening. We’re thrilled to be recognized as being a collaborative member of the oil and gas community.
There are four other organizations shortlisted for the award. To see the full list of nominees in this category, and all other categories, click [here](https://globalpetroleumshow.com/special-events/gps-awards-gala/2019-awards-nominees/). Winners will be announced at the GPS Awards Gala on June 11.
If you’re interested in seeing what a Collaborative Trendsetter company looks like, stop by our booth at the GPS from June 11 - 13. Our booth is number 7804 in the Digital Transformation Zone located in Hall D. We’re the ones with the hot sauce.
